Concept
-wax and wane-
To create a dress with a beautiful silhouette, I produced an original pattern and used denim as the material for the dress.
Denim is woven in a twill weave, which gives it a beautiful expression as a piece of cloth. I created a pattern that would create a beautifully draped shadow at the hem of the dress.
Like the changing expression of the moon as it waxes and wanes, I used the movement of the person wearing the dress, the light hitting the surface and the shadows of the drape at the hem to incorporate the beauty of shadows into the dress design.

Under the theme of pursuing "what I love", we held an exhibition with friends from the Faculty of Design, each with different areas of expertise.
I used my knowledge of drafting, developed in the field of architecture, to pursue a more beautiful silhouette for the dress.

About Exhibition
I was also involved in the spatial design of the exhibition and incorporated the motif of silkworm cocoons into the design.
Each work, the cocoons arranged in the space and the visitors to the exhibition resonated with each other to create a unique exhibition.
